Key Advantages

  • Ultra-high H14 filtration – captures ≥99.995% of the most penetrating particles down to 0.3 microns
  • Advanced Gel Seal technology – perfect airtight seal, self-healing, minimal leakage risk (highly recommended for cleanrooms & critical applications)
  • Large extended size 610 x 1220 mm – greater media area, supports high airflow, saves installation space
  • Corrosion-resistant and lightweight anodized aluminum frame
  • Painted aluminium protection grids safeguard the media from damage
  • Maximum leak-free performance for sterile environments

Applications

This filter is designed for environments with the strictest air cleanliness requirements:

  • Air conditioning systems in hospitals, operating theaters, isolation rooms, and medical facilities
  • Research, pharmaceutical, and microbiology laboratories
  • Museums & cultural institutions for artifact protection
  • Pharmaceutical industry – sterile production zones
  • Food & beverage processing – strict hygiene standards
  • Microelectronics, semiconductors, and high-ISO cleanrooms

The HEPA Filter H14 delivers premium air filtration with ≥99.995% efficiency at 0.3 microns (EN 1822 certified). It effectively removes ultra-fine dust, bacteria, viruses, and microscopic contaminants. The Gel Seal technology ensures zero air bypass leakage, making it ideal for contamination-intolerant critical applications.

The extended 610 x 1220 x 73 mm size provides a larger media surface area, perfect for high-airflow AHU/FFU systems and large coverage areas in a single unit. The combination of premium microglass fiber, anodized frame, and gel seal guarantees long-term performance in sterile environments.

Filtration Stage Sequence in HVAC / Cleanroom Systems

In HVAC or cleanroom setups, the HEPA H14 is typically installed as the final filtration stage to achieve the highest air purity. Standard filtration sequence:

  1. Pre-filter (G4) – captures large particles and coarse dust, protecting downstream filters and extending their lifespan
  2. Medium / Secondary filter (F7 / F8 / F9) – traps medium and fine particles that pass the pre-filter, reducing the load on the HEPA
  3. HEPA Filter H14 – final stage, captures ultra-fine particles, bacteria, and viruses

This sequence maximizes HEPA filter life, saves energy, and maintains overall system efficiency.

How to Install Gel Seal HEPA Filter

  1. Ensure the housing / terminal / plenum is clean and free of dust & contaminants before installation.
  2. Check that the knife-edge (sealing blade) on the housing is clean and undamaged.
  3. Carefully remove the old filter (if present), wearing gloves and personal protective equipment.
  4. Install the new filter: align the gel seal channel to the downstream side, gently lower until the knife-edge enters the gel. The gel will automatically form a self-healing seal.
  5. Ensure the filter sits flat and square – do not force it.
  6. Perform a leak test (DOP / PAO test) after installation to confirm zero leakage. Note: Installation should be carried out by trained personnel in a clean environment.

When to Replace the HEPA Filter

Replace the HEPA filter when:

  • Final pressure drop reaches or exceeds 600 Pa (typically 1.5–2× initial pressure drop)
  • Differential pressure rises significantly, increasing fan load and energy consumption
  • Leak test fails (mandatory testing every 6–12 months per ISO / GMP standards)
  • Typical service life is 1–3 years (depending on dust load, quality of pre-filters, and operating conditions)

Monitor pressure drop regularly; replace earlier if energy efficiency or air quality is a priority.
