Anthracite is effective for filtering cloudy and dirty water from suspended solids. Can be added to existing sand filter. Shape: GranularAppearance: Solid blackOdor / Odor: Odorless / OdorlessFixed Carbon : 79 MinVolatile Matter : 10 MinInherent Moisture : 3 MaxAsh Content : 6 MaxDensity: 0.75gr/ml
- As a catalyst in the oxidation and reduction reactions of iron and manganese.- Eliminates metal, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide content in water- Can be used in water conditions that have low silica levels- Can reduce the TDS value and hardness of water
Silica sand, often also called quartz sand, is used to remove mud, soil, small particles and sediment in water. Usually used as a pre-filter to be processed with the next filter.
Zeolite has other advantages, apart from adsorbing, it can also be a natural ion exchanger so that it can remove lime, magnesium, calcium (hardness) from water, apart from its main function of removing iron, manganese, H2S and other heavy metals.
Gravel is a support media in the filtration system. The function of Gravel filter media is to reduce turbidity, suspended solids, blockages by algae and is able to reduce suspensions and colloids.
Anthracite filter media comes from coal content, has shiny color and functions to remove turbidity in water. Anthracite has a lighter specific gravity than silica sand so that anthracite can be used as a substitute for silica sand in the filtration process. Anthracite can absorb more dirt because it has more cavities inside.
Biofilm Media used in MBBR system. Biofilm made of polypropylene plastic in the form of a small hollow cylinder with a diameter of about 10 to 25 mm. MBBR biofilm media continues to move in the water and becomes a home for microorganisms to grow and develop, then COD/BOD levels will be reduced significantly.
FREEMAN ACTIVATED CARBON for Liquid Phase Filtration FREEMAN Coconut Shell Activated Carbon has high level of hardness & absorption, physically clean, much more durable in use, superior surface area, suitable for removing organic substances, odors and other contaminants in waste water, drinking water treatment and food grade applications. Mesh sizes:...
Coconut shell activated carbon is processed under a strict production control environment, to ensure maximum performance in the final product in the precious gold recovery process. Its high adsorptive capacity coupled with its' superior hardness, makes it particularly suitable for carbon in pulp (CIP), carbon in leach (CIL), and carbon in column (CIC)...
