  • Compact design 305 x 610 x 78 mm with 5.2 m² media area – delivers optimal filtration performance at low-to-medium airflow rates (300 m³/h)
  • 78 mm depth – increases dust-holding capacity and extends service life compared to thinner models
  • Endless polyurethane gasket – ensures a tight, leak-free seal
  • Anodized aluminium frame – corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and sturdy
  • Painted aluminium protection grids on both sides – maximum protection against mechanical damage
  • ±10 mm tolerance – simplifies installation in housings with minor size variations

Applications

This filter is highly suitable for environments requiring strict air quality control:

  • Air conditioning systems in hospitals, operating theaters, isolation rooms, laboratories, and museums
  • Industrial processes in pharmaceutical plants, food & beverage facilities, and microelectronics
  • Cleanrooms, medical facilities, and sensitive electronic production areas

HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter H13 is a high-efficiency air filter engineered to remove microscopic particles from the air. Certified under EN 1822, H13 class filters achieve ≥99.95% efficiency at 0.3 microns, effectively capturing fine dust, pollen, bacteria, viruses, and smoke particles. It is the preferred choice in applications demanding precise air quality control, such as cleanrooms, laboratories, medical facilities, pharmaceutical production, and electronics manufacturing.

This HEPA Filter comes in a compact 305 x 610 x 78 mm size with 5.2 m² media area and 300 m³/h airflow capacity, making it an excellent solution for space-constrained systems or applications with moderate airflow needs. Equipped with premium microglass fiber media, anodized aluminium frame, endless polyurethane gasket, and dual-sided protection grids, this filter provides stable filtration performance, a perfect airtight seal, and extended service life thanks to its 78 mm depth.

Filtration Stage Sequence in HVAC / Cleanroom Systems

In HVAC or cleanroom setups, HEPA H13 is positioned as the final filtration stage. Recommended sequence:

  1. Pre-filter (G4) – traps large dust and coarse particles, protecting downstream filters
  2. Medium / Secondary filter (F7 / F8 / F9) – captures medium to fine particles, reducing the load on the HEPA
  3. HEPA Filter H13 – final stage, removes ultra-fine particles, bacteria, and viruses

This layered approach saves energy, extends filter life, and keeps system performance optimal.

Installation Instructions

  1. Thoroughly clean the housing/plenum of dust and debris before installation.
  2. Inspect the sealing surface (knife-edge or channel) to ensure it is clean and undamaged.
  3. Carefully remove the old filter (wear gloves and appropriate PPE).
  4. Install the new filter: align the gasket direction with airflow, press gently until fully seated.
  5. Verify the filter is level and properly positioned.
  6. Conduct a leak test (DOP / PAO) after installation. Installation should be performed by trained personnel in a clean environment.

When to Replace the HEPA Filter

Replace when:

  • Final pressure drop reaches or exceeds 600 Pa (typically 1.5–2× initial pressure drop)
  • Significant rise in differential pressure increases fan load and electricity consumption
  • Leak test (DOP/PAO) fails (mandatory testing every 6–12 months per ISO / GMP standards)
  • Average service life of 1–3 years is reached (depending on dust load and pre-filter quality)

Monitor differential pressure regularly. Replace earlier if air quality or energy efficiency is a priority.
