STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) – Practical Solutions for Domestic Wastewater Treatment
Domestic wastewater treatment is no longer an option, but a necessity. Office buildings, industrial areas, hospitals, and even commercial areas are required to ensure that their wastewater is treated according to applicable quality standards and environmental regulations.
Domestic wastewater treatment plant in capsule form (BIOCAP STP) with MBBR media
A wastewater treatment system designed to minimize land, energy, and resource usage while maintaining efficient wastewater treatment.
BioCap STP can be used in: Housing Complexes, Apartments, Condominiums, Clinics, Community Health Centers & Hospitals, School Buildings, Campuses, Office Buildings, Malls, Hotels, Factories/Industrial Areas, Public Facilities: Stations, Airports, Restaurants, Places of Worship, Markets, etc.
WHAT STP COMPONENTS WILL YOU GET?
REQUIREMENTS FOR WASTEWATER TO BE TREATMENT
FLOW PROCESS AT THE BIOCAP STP
1. Equalization: Wastewater will be homogenized and filtered from solid particles, dirt, grease, etc. using a basket screen.
2. Anaerobic: Wastewater is treated biologically under anaerobic conditions (low oxygen), with a honeycomb-shaped medium for bacterial growth.
3. Aerobic: Wastewater is treated biologically under aerobic conditions (oxygen addition to the water) using micro-bubble technology, which uses small air bubbles to transfer oxygen more efficiently to the water. The medium for bacterial growth is a bioball/MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor).
4. Sedimentation: The biobox contains a plate settler to aid the sedimentation process. There are also biomats and bioballs for filtration and to capture bacteria carried over from the treatment process. These bacteria are then returned to the aerobic tank by a RAS pump.
5. Chlorination: The final stage involves the addition of chlorine for disinfection (eliminating pathogens and harmful microbes in the water). The treated water meets domestic wastewater quality standards (Ministerial Regulation of the Environment and Forestry No. 68 of 2016) and can be safely discharged into water bodies.
BIOCAP STP VS CONVENTIONAL PROCESSING
1. BioCap's processing yields minimal sludge due to the presence of a bacterial adhesion medium that prevents bacteria from being carried along with the process. It also has a RAS pump that pumps the sludge/bacteria back into the system.
2. The system is closed, so it won't produce odors.
3. Energy efficient because it only uses one pump for sludge and aeration.
4. It takes up little space (low footprint), is compact, can be adjusted to fit available space (either above ground or planted), and is movable.
5. Affordable investment and operational costs, easy operation and maintenance, and the only consumables required are bacteria, nutrients, and chlorine.
Prices include Franco Jabodetabek.
Dimensions (Diameter & Length) can be changed or adjusted according to needs.
