Mechanical diaphragm metering pumps utilize a mechanically driven diaphragm system to transfer liquid through diaphragm movement and displacement.

This type of dosing pump is commonly used for handling liquids without solid particles, with operating temperatures approximately between -15°C to 85°C and viscosities ranging from low to high levels. The flow capacity can be adjusted continuously from 0–100%, allowing flexible dosing control based on application requirements.

Mechanical diaphragm metering pumps offer several advantages such as leak-free operation, compact construction, easy maintenance, and cost-efficient performance. These pumps are widely applied in industries including water and wastewater treatment, environmental systems, pharmaceuticals, paper manufacturing, chemical processing, and other industrial applications involving slurry or chemical dosing.

Function

  1. The pump supports both manual and automatic flow adjustment systems. Automatic operation can be integrated through variable frequency control, digital controllers, or stroke controllers for more precise dosing applications.

  2. Available flow capacities range from approximately 0.47 to 6000 L/h, with maximum working pressure options up to 1.2 MPa. Flow accuracy can typically be maintained within ±1%.

  3. The suction lift capability reaches up to 3 meters of water column.

  4. This pump model is not equipped with an internal pressure relief or safety discharge system. Therefore, installation of an external safety valve on the discharge piping is recommended to ensure safer operation.

  5. For applications involving flammable, explosive, corrosive, or hazardous chemicals, a double-diaphragm configuration with diaphragm rupture detection can be selected to improve operational safety and reduce leakage risk.

Wetted Materials / Fluid End Materials

Diaphragm materials are available in PTFE or PTFE-rubber composite construction.

  7. The gearbox housing is manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy, providing lightweight yet durable construction.

  8. Multiple material options for wetted parts allow compatibility with both corrosive and non-corrosive liquids, with custom materials available for specific operating conditions.
