1m3/h Water Treatment Plant Installation at PT United Tractors Tbk
In October 2025, PT Zefa Valindo Jaya was again entrusted with the installation of a 1m3/hour Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at PT United Tractors Tbk Jakarta. Previously, in 2024, ZEFA had already constructed WTPs at six PT United Tractors Tbk sites in Kalimantan (Banjarmasih, Satui, Tenggarong, Pontianak, Muara Lawa, and Rantau).
The water to be treated will be rainwater and air conditioning condensate. The treated water, or outlet water, will be used to supply toilets, laundry areas, and garden watering.
The WTP will consist of several filtration stages, including:
- Sand Filter
Silica sand or quartz sand is used to remove mud, soil, small particles, and sediment from the water. - Carbon Filter
Uses coconut shell activated carbon, which has high absorption capacity. It functions to absorb odors, remove color, and remove harmful elements from the water. - Softener
Used to remove hardness in water that can cause scale formation. - Cartridge Filter
A tube-shaped, porous filtering device that removes turbidity or solids present in water down to 5 microns in size. - UV Sterilizer
A device that uses ultraviolet light (especially UV-C) to kill bacteria, viruses, and harmful microorganisms in water.
The equipment included in the WTP system includes:
- Water storage
- Break tank pump
- PDAM tank pump
- Filter pump
- Sand filter
- Carbon filter
- Softener
- Cartridge filter
- UV sterilizer
- Piping & fitting
- Electrical control panel
