AQUARIGHT D 200 Solvent Descaler (Inorganic)

Chemical Cleaning – Acid Cleaner

AQUARIGHT D 200 Solvent

D 200 SOLVENT is based on hydrochloric acid which is effective in removing both hardness scales and metallic oxide deposits from heat transfer quipment and associated pipe work. It may be used in plant manufactured from both ferrous and non-ferrous metals at-temperatures up to 90°C.

D 200 Solvent dissolves / releases the hard crust ( chemical cleaning  for removing in-organic and heavy scale ) which is formed from deposits of hardness salts that stick firmly to boiler pipes, condenser tubes (H / E), or evaporators on Coller or Calorifier , usually this chemical is called  Acid-Cleaner .

D 200 Solvent Inhibited inorganic descalling used for acid cleaning and effectively used for pickling process

Specifications

  • Specific Gravity: 1.00 – 1.10

  • pH: < 1.00

  • Odour: Pungent, irritating

Advantages

  • Fast and effective solvent for a wide range of scale and deposit types

  • Contains inhibitor to protect ferrous and non-ferrous equipment up to 90°C

  • Simple on-site test for acid strength

Safety

  • Flammable gases may be released during the cleaning process.

  • Work areas must be well ventilated.

  • Smoking, open flames, and ignition sources are strictly prohibited during application.

Dosage & Application

  • AQUARIGHT D 200 Solvent should be added into a pre-filled system, avoiding localized high acid concentration (commonly via temporary mixing tank and injection pump).

  • Final concentration should be maintained between 5–15% by volume, depending on specific system requirements and as per our technical engineer’s guidance.

  • Boiler systems must not be operated while containing AQUARIGHT D 200 Solvent. Heating should be done indirectly using steam coils or live steam injection.

  • This product will remove galvanized layers and must not be used in systems containing soft solder, aluminum, tin, or related alloys.

AQUARIGHT D 200 Solvent is typically used in the initial stage of chemical cleaning. For optimal results, it should be followed by a neutralizing chemical such as AQUARIGHT A 055.
