Key Advantages

  • H13-level efficiency captures ≥99.95% of particles down to 0.3 microns perfect for critical air quality applications
  • Extended size 610 x 915 mm with larger media surface area supports higher airflow capacity in a single filter unit
  • Downstream endless polyurethane gasket delivers a tight, reliable seal with very low risk of air bypass
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant anodized aluminium profile frame, lightweight and easy to handle
  • Painted aluminium protection grids on both sides provide additional mechanical protection
  • ±10 mm installation tolerance simplifies fitting into slightly varying housings

Applications

This filter is suitable for environments that demand high air quality control:

  • Air conditioning systems in hospitals, operating rooms, isolation wards, and other healthcare facilities
  • Research, pharmaceutical, and microbiology laboratories
  • Museums and cultural storage facilities to prevent damage from dust and airborne contaminants
  • Pharmaceutical industry, maintaining contamination-free production areas
  • Food & beverage industry, meeting stringent hygiene requirements
  • Microelectronics, semiconductors, and cleanrooms

The HEPA Filter H13  offers superior air filtration with ≥99.95% efficiency at 0.3 microns (EN 1822 standard). It effectively traps fine dust, pollen, bacteria, viruses, and various microscopic particles. The 610 x 915 x 66 mm size provides significantly more media area than standard filters, making it an excellent choice for AHU or FFU systems requiring high airflow volumes without the need for multiple units.

Equipped with premium microglass fiber media, anodized aluminium profile frame, downstream endless polyurethane gasket, and robust protection grids, this filter ensures stable, dependable performance in clean and controlled environments.

Recommended Filtration Stage Sequence in HVAC / Cleanroom Systems

In HVAC or cleanroom applications, HEPA H13 is typically positioned as the final filtration stage. The recommended sequence is:

  1. Pre-filter (G4) – removes large particles and coarse dust, protecting subsequent filters and extending their lifespan
  2. Medium / Secondary filter (F7 / F8 / F9) – captures medium to fine particles that pass the pre-filter, reducing the burden on the HEPA
  3. HEPA Filter H13 – final stage, traps ultra-fine particles, bacteria, and viruses

This arrangement optimizes energy use, prolongs HEPA service life, and keeps the entire system performing efficiently.

How to Install the HEPA Filter

  1. Thoroughly clean the housing, plenum, or terminal of any dust or debris before installing the new filter.
  2. Inspect the knife-edge or sealing surface on the housing (ensure it is clean and undamaged).
  3. Carefully remove the old filter (wear gloves and appropriate personal protective equipment).
  4. Install the new filter: align the downstream gasket side correctly, lower it slowly until fully seated.
  5. Confirm the filter is level and properly positioned.
  6. Conduct a leak test (DOP / PAO test) after installation to verify a perfect seal. Note: Installation should be performed by trained personnel in a clean area.

When to Replace the HEPA Filter

Replace the filter when:

  • Final pressure drop reaches or exceeds 600 Pa (typically 1.5–2 times the initial pressure drop)
  • Significant rise in differential pressure causes increased fan load and higher electricity consumption
  • Leak test results fail (mandatory testing every 6–12 months per ISO / GMP standards)
  • Average service life of 1–3 years is reached (depending on dust loading, pre-filter effectiveness, and operating conditions)

Regularly monitor differential pressure. Replace earlier if air quality or energy efficiency is a top priority.
